Apple has finally done it. Apple has released its new tablet device, that is. The Mac public was expecting, indeed clamoring — for Apple to release such a device — and soon! For Apple to have failed to do so would have been a major letdown (to its customers as well as its stockholders). The momentum was just impossible to resist.

After all, the iPhone is essentially a miniature tablet computer. Apple has shown that it can “do” such a device like no one else. So, despite Steve Jobs past protestations, releasing a new tablet was a no-brainer. All Apple had to do is scale up its brilliant interface to a larger device.

Did I say “all Apple had to do?” The technical challenges in producing this new device, called the iPad, were enormous. Apple had to essentially design a whole new operating system that is not quite the Mac and not quite the iPhone, rewrite its core applications from scratch, and basically rethink the entire way a computer operates.

Apple was not the first to release a new tablet computer, just as it was not the first to release an MP3 player or cell phone, but it may well be the company that succeeds in making the tablet computer truly “catch fire” with the public.

Apple has a tremendous head start with 140,000+ apps for the iPhone, and it wisely designed the iPad to take advantage of them. The iPad can run iPhone apps at their original size, or in “pixel doubled mode” twice the size as on the iPhone, so that they nearly fill the iPad screen. Developers can easily rewrite their iPhone apps specifically for the iPad in such a way as to take advantage of its new features.

How will the iPad affect Internet marketers? Of course, the “i” in its name stands for Internet (and it’s also a clever play on the name of the “iPod”). Surfing the web will be a joy, and a larger screen will give users much more room to work with. Apple’s developers brag that it’s like “holding the entire Internet in your hand,” or like reading a physical book or magazine.

The economic recession in America is what everyone is talking about. Its in the news, your local coffee shops, in your neighborhood, at the office, even at your dinner table. For some the recession is not a problem, and for others it can be pure suffering. Are you one of those that are suffering? In this article there are 3 topics that I would like to cover. Lets start with the first one.

    How Long Will it Last?

Breath, depth and duration are the most important key factors to a recession. And even though for now it is way to soon to even try to say anything about how long the recession will last. by looking at the data that supports the views that every business, but exports are feeling the effects. Exports can boost the economic growth, but not the growth for the employment.

As for now there seems to be agreement on when the recession started. It is believed to have started in December of 2007. This agreement was stated by the December 3 article by cnnmoney.com, while there is not much talk about how long this recession will last.

Gianni Truvianni’s “South Africa 2010″, Higuain’s Hat Trick Gives Argentina 4-1 Win Over South Korea

An article about Argentina’s 4-1 rout of South Korea on June, 17, 2010.

In a solid display of football Argentina dominated in what was a convincing 4-1 win over South Korea to assure themselves a place in the round of 16. Argentina controlling much of the play was able to score 15 minutes in to the game when an unfortunate bounce deflected of South Korea’s Chuyung and in to the back of the net for what would be the first goal of the game. It was once having taken the lead that Argentina, inspired by Messi pressed forward in attack in what looked to be a rout early on. It being Argentina imposing their South American flair and ball control.

Argentina would not wait long for their second goal which came at the 32 minute mark when an unmarked Higuain headed in his first goal of the game; from a position which at first did give the appearance of being offside yet the replay clearly demonstrated that all had been according to the rules. It being then that Argentina perhaps took on too much confidence which led to South Korea’s only goal when in the last minute of the first half; Lee Chong Yong took advantage of a defensive error to put South Korea within striking distance.

With the 2010 World Cup just around the corner, football fans everywhere will soon be gearing up to watch and support their favourite teams. Some will experience the event via television, while others plan to journey to South Africa to witness the games in person. Either way, many people are likely to want time off from work in order to enjoy this year’s World Cup.

For employers everywhere, this could mean various things. It could, for instance, mean that many of their employees will be requesting time off at the same time – which could result in some people not getting that time off.  It could also mean that some employees will call in sick – especially if they’re not given the time off due to so many requests being made at once. The event will also likely change expectations of employees in the workplace. For example, many employees might expect more flexibility in hours, so that they’re able to watch the games. Employers, on the other hand, might fear a decrease in productivity due to such expectations. With expectations and fears such as these running rampant in the workplace, tensions can run high – meaning business could suffer. But there are various ways to manage expectations, attendance, and holiday requests – even during an event as significant as the World Cup.

It happened back in the 70′s, but the evidence was still there. It was the case of the disappearing horsepower and this is what happened.

In the era of the muscle car power was everything. It didn’t matter what it was, sports car, family car, pickup; it had the biggest V-8 possible stuffed under the hood. Cubic inches were king and advertised power was astronomical. These cars could kick sand in the windscreens of anything else on the road.

But then horsepower seemed to disappear overnight!

Take my favourite muscle car, the Ford Mustang. The macho models had V-8s, though meeker models came with an inline six. The biggest six had 200 cubic inches and 155 hp in 1969/70.

What did the V-8s punch out? The most powerful 351 gave 300 hp in 1970 and the 427 gave a massive 390 hp in 1968. But by 1973 the most powerful Mustang had a 351 V-8 with just 156 hp. Almost half what it had in 1970, and only one horsepower more than the 200 cu in six of 1970!  As for the Mustang II of 1974, we won’t even go there.

Microsoft Outlook is a widely used e-mail client and is used to receive/send important business e-mails. In a business environment, where every e-mail is important, accidental e-mail deletion can lead to major problems. An e-mail, deleted from Outlook Inbox or any other folder, goes to ‘Deleted Items’ folder. So there are chances that you might be able to restore deleted e-mails to the original folder. However, if this folder has been emptied or the deleted e-mails have just bypassed the folder, there is no solution other than last performed backup or Deleted Email Recovery utility to get your valuable emails back.

Suppose you are a Microsoft Outlook user, who receives critical client queries and replies to them. All of a sudden, you realize that as you open a newly received e-mail and read it, the e-mail gets automatically deleted from Outlook Inbox. There is no apparent reason for this behavior and, you cannot find this deleted e-mail in ‘Deleted Items’ folder.

You know how much you paid for your Xbox 360 games. If you’re like every other Xbox gamer, you worry about being able to afford to replace your favorite Xbox games if one should become lost, stolen, or permanently damaged. Making Xbox 360 game backup copies [http://www.zimbio.com/Xbox+360/articles/JESAmkHFn-s/Download+Xbox+360+Games+Everything+4+360+Review] must seem to be a pretty good idea. Right? Just remember your motives for making these copies.
You are legally entitled to back up Xbox 360 games [http://www.articlesbase.com/video-games-articles/its-important-to-know-how-to-backup-xbox-360-games-1363988.html] for your personal use, but are not legally allowed to copy them for any other purpose such as trading or resale. You can be arrested and prosecuted for counterfeiting video games. The games are costly, but not expensive enough to spend time in jail to save a few bucks.
One of the first hurdles you will have to face is modifying your Xbox 360 console to enable it to play your backed up games. There are some modification schemes which involve using software applications to change the Xbox’s operating system. The other scheme is to physically modify your Xbox console motherboard by soldering in a special computer chip. The software modification is less risky than messing with the Xbox hardware, but understand that either scheme will void your Xbox warranty. This puts you between a rock and a hard place. Make mods, and you can backup Xbox games. Make no mods, and you cannot. It’s a dilemma, but it’s your decision. continue reading…
