    By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Emma_Drosy]Emma Drosy

If you’re talking about Greece, then you know that the Trojan Horse was a clever ploy once used to win a war. Soldiers built a large monument, in the shape of a horse, as a “present” to the city they were battling against. The citizens rejoiced when they saw that the army had departed and left such a wonderful gift, and tore down some of the city walls just to get the large object inside. Little did they know that soldiers were hidden within, and after nightfall they struck to lay waste to the city of Troy. Like that famed Trojan Horse from legend of old, the Trojan Horse virus is a nasty bugger that hides inside a perfectly innocent-looking file. But do you know how to get rid of Trojan Horse virus?

Playing video games is a wonderful way of relaxing, having fun, getting rid of boredom and even relieving stress and keeping fit. But sitting down to play video games for a very long period of time can have adverse consequences on your health, and it is important that you take your time in keeping these consequences at the lowest levels, or even eliminate them.

Long term video gaming can cause deep-vein thrombosis-where a blood clot builds up in a major blood vessel, blocking the flow of blood to vital areas of the body which can, in extreme cases, result in death.

In order for you to stay healthy and fit while you play your favorite games (if you are a real video game fan), here are some tips for you:

1 Get up away from the computer (or TV) every few hours, walk around and stretch your whole body, otherwise you are putting yourself at significant health risks. Chiropractors recommend taking a break to stretch your body every forty-five minutes to one hour.

Online Gaming Software Grows Up The next generation of gaming software must be reliable and stable. The market and the high cost of player acquisition demand no less. Technology exists that provides the same kind of robustness and scalability found in numerous fail-safe platforms like mission-critical financial systems and air traffic control systems. Developing such platforms requires careful, rigorous design, implementation and testing, and takes years to complete, but what gaming company can settle for less?

Early online gaming software was PC-based, single-user games downloaded or on CD. Developers extended these games to support multiple players online. The popularity of online poker caught those developers by surprise. The underlying architecture was not designed to support thousands of simultaneous users, playing frequent large tournaments. Compounding these challenges were poor internet connections including modems.

As online poker took off, leading sites attracted more players than the designers had anticipated. The early systems failed and crashed spectacularly – sometimes taking down gaming sites for hours every day, interrupting tournaments and alienating players. Gaming software developers reacted by re-architecting with countless patches and fixes, forcing time-consuming client downloads.

eBooster breathes new life into your old Windows XP machine.

MDO Ltd. has brought out eBoostr, saying it’s a complete substitute for Microsoft’s ReadyBoost technology for Windows XP machines. The software is now available for a test-drive and bestows ReadyBoost-like technology to older, but still useful Microsoft Windows XP PCs, providing many of the same benefits to the end user.

eBoostr betters the speed of a PC or laptop without having to upgrade its internal components or the operating system. Using USB flash pen memory drives or flash memory cards, permits Windows XP to access hard drives to a much lesser extent. This results in upgraded performance and responsiveness of Windows XP and all running applications.

When Microsoft launched Vista, it struggled to come up with many real reasons why you should upgrade form Windows XP. Something that’s immediately obvious is that due to the extreme overheads of the Windows Aero interface, along with the Windows sidebar, on the same hardware. Windows XP will outperform Vista every time.

This is, of course, particularly bad news for gamers, but ends up affecting all users. One of the new features of Vista that’s supposed to help performance is ReadyBoost, and it works with the aid of USB memory sticks.

The idea is that because hard drive access times are sloth-like compared to RAM, you can use a fast USB stick as a form of extra cache, and it’s used as an extension to your virtual memory (swap file). Instead of fetching files out of the swap file on the hard disk, Vista retrieves them from the USB stick, because of this, you need a nice large stick, although it can’t be any larger than 4GB, while it should also have the fastest access times you can buy.
