Playing video games is a wonderful way of relaxing, having fun, getting rid of boredom and even relieving stress and keeping fit. Long term video gaming can cause deep-vein thrombosis-where a blood clot builds up in a major blood vessel, blocking the flow of blood to vital areas of the body which can, in extreme cases, result in death.

1 Get up away from the computer (or TV) every few hours, walk around and stretch your whole body, otherwise you are putting yourself at significant health risks. Chiropractors recommend taking a break to stretch your body every forty-five minutes to one hour.
